Hello Everyone,
I decided to put up a special mid-week post since it was a pretty good day. I woke up this morning and checked my email and I found out that my credits were transferred from my associates to my bachelors, i have been waiting for this for a few weeks. So, now I am 42 credit hours into my bachelors with only about 80 to go. Still quite a few but better than 122.
I also looked at the promotions to see if maybe my number came up, and it did. So on 1 Aug I will no longer be a frocked 1SG, I will be getting paid for it.
It was a good start to what ended up being a good day. Aside from being away from home, it was a good day. The Soldiers in TF Charger got me an ice-cream cake and even sang to me. Not too bad for being in Bagram.
Anyways, thanks for all the cards and packages. I hope to see you all soon.

Hi…I am the Janet that Lynda works with. She is passing out your email address, so you may get more emails. Happy belated birthday. Lynda and I talk alot at work, but mostly Lynda does the talking. Ha. Ha. We talk about our aging Moms. I take care of my soon to be 89 year old mom. Afghansitan is said to be a beutiful country…Did not think it was that hot.
