Happy Thanksgiving, even though it is still a couple of days away. Today is also my packing and moving day. I will be packing up my stuff today and getting ready to move and then I will move into a new temporary room probably tomorrow. I don’t know if I will spend the rest of my time left in that room or if I will have to move again but I really won’t mind, the room is literally in the building right next to where I am now anyways.
There isn’t much new news to put out this week, as far as I know we are still planning on leaving the first part of January and we are preparing for our replacements to get here. Work has been keeping me busy and classes are still steady. I should be finishing up one more class at the end of next week and starting a new one on the 1st of December. All in all, I will have completed 12 classes while I’ve been here which isn’t too bad.
What are everyone’s plans for Thanksgiving this year? I will eat in the mess hall and they should have a pretty good meal that day. Other than that, it will be mostly business as usual.
I hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to seeing you when I get home.
Hi Dave,
Aunt Ellie cooked the turkey, dressing, and potatoes- your Mom and Dad made the pies and carved the turkey and made the dressing. Joe and I brought the squash and some pomegranate seeds – Did you know that pomegranate originated in your location? Jeff called he was going out to Thanksgiving dinner with Rex and Mary. We have a bit of snow and about 35 degrees today, not bad..Love you Gail G
