Merry Christmas!!!

Hello and Merry Christmas everyone. We are getting down to our final days here which is really nice. Our replacements are here and learning the job and as they learn a bit more, that is a bit less that we have to be around. If everything stays on schedule, we are down to about 9 days left before we leave and hopefully only about 11 or 12 until we are actually back home.

Everything is going well here. The weather is changing to winter and the mountains are just about covered in snow. Today is the 24th and I am sure we will have a good dinner tomorrow at the mess hall. I am hoping that all of our Soldiers can go and eat together since everyone’s replacement should be able to take care of things for an hour or so. I guess we will see.

We already sent two of our Soldiers home and hopefully they will make it before Christmas. They are supposed to make it sometime late on Christmas eve, it would make a nice gift if they make it.

I hope everyone has a nice Christmas and are doing well. Take care and I will write a little more later on.
