I guess I am a bit late in getting this updated for the week. Not too much has been going on, I started my third college class so I have been pretty busy with that. The weather is still very warm, I guess it gets up to about 100 every day but cools down a bit at night.
According to what I’ve read in our monthly news letter, the 12 month deployment is pretty much official. I am still a bit weary to announce it right out because after 18 years in the Army I know at least one thing, everything can change. I hope it is true and once I have my feet on the ground back home, I will know for sure.
As of a few days ago, I was officially at my half way point as long as we stick to the new schedule. 195 days down and 195 days to go.
