Mid-July

Hello Everyone. Well, July is moving right along which is fine with me. I was able to put up or 101 Combat Aviation Brigades newsletter and it can be found right here. It may take a few minutes to download but it shouldn’t be too bad, even on a dial-up connection.
I really don’t have a lot of new news to tell, it has been business as usual for the most part. I will be finishing up the last of my speech class this week and take the final exam next week, and I will be done with that. I am already a couple weeks into my second class and it is moving along nicely. I am still not sure if I will sign up for another class in August or not, I am thinking not but I will see. I had better make up my mind quick because August will be here in no time.
I guess Paula has been keeping very busy with the kids and photography. She had a wedding to shoot yesterday but I haven’t heard how it went yet. I will say this, every time I see the newest pictures I get even more impressed. I believe she has definitely found her calling.
I am looking forward to August going as fast as July did, but looking at the calendar, August looks even longer. It gets light so early here and stays that way for a while, it makes the days seem longer than they are. Then there is the heat, I here on the radio that it has been up to 109 some days. Luckily the wind keeps blowing and makes it feel a little better, but on those days that there is no wind it is pretty darn hot. Gail sent me a fan for my room and it has been doing its job nicely. It will probably stay on until it cools off outside so it will get a work out. Also, Gail sent me some Eucerin cream and that seems to have helped out with what little rash is sticking around. It isn’t anywhere near as bad as it was and so far I am able to function pretty much normally. So, I will be shopping for some more of that before it is gone.
I hope you all are doing well, I do not get many comments so I am not sure who all reads this (hint hint).
