Happy Easter

  Happy Easter everyone. It looks like spring is here and that means one more season to mark off the countdown. Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with email and letters but between work and college, I am staying extrememly busy. I will try to get some letters written this week and get them sent out.

  So far, no change to my leave in May. It looks like that is what it’ll be which is fine with me. I was initially wanting to wait until September so I was half way done with the deployment but I really do miss the family and May is such nice weather at home. This way I can help get the house ready for summer and maybe even enjoy some of it.

  Our initial plans of going somewhere may have changed a bit, we may just stay home instead. Traveling even a short distance, like the Smokey’s, still takes a day to get there and a day to return and when you are counting all of those 18 days, that’s a lot to miss out on. We will probably take a day trip or two into Nashville and go to the Zoo or something but we’ll see.

  Sorry, no new pictures to put up today. We are trying to get all the pictures that the company has taken so we can have a pool of photos to select from. We’ll see if that ever happens. Even though there is a lot of time left, some of the days just fly on by.

   Paula did her first wedding shoot on Saturday and I am very proud of her. You can take a look at some samples of the wedding on her blog by clicking here. I wish we had her for a photographer at our wedding, but I guess that would have been tricky since she was the start of it.

  I guess that’s about it for now. I will write again next week and hopefully have something to write about.
