Hello all, nothing much new going on still which is both good and bad I suppose.
We asked the kids what they wanted to do when I got home for a vacation and thy both want to go to the beach. So, we changed up our plans and instead of going to Disney or on a cruise we are thinking now of just going to either the Bahamas. But even that plan has changed and we are thinking of going to Beaches Resort in Jamaica, which is an all-inclusive resort for families. Of course, I still have no idea of when we will be going because we still aren’t sure when we will be heading home yet.
Work and school are going fine and keeping me busy. Although I am getting pretty tired of all the rumors of when we are going home and now the new rumors on when we will be heading back here. It looks like my retirement plans may not work out as planned, one more reason why I wanted to retire in the first place. Hopefully we will find out something soon but I am not really going to get my hopes up on that.
Once I know something for sure, I will let everyone else know.
On a good note, I was able to get a hold of some garlic powder. As most of you may know, garlic is the key ingredient to Porter dip. So, I also got some cream cheese and milk and whipped up some dip for Saturday night. It was a little tougher using a plastic fork rather than a mixer but it worked out OK.
