Not much new

Well, there isn’t too much new to tell this week. The first week of April is gone and I will be glad to see the rest go with it. The weather has been turning warmer but today it reverted back to cold. It rained a couple days ago and that helped get the dust out of the air but I think it also cooled it off a bit. I doubt it will stay cool long though, and I’m sure I will be wishing for the cold in a few months.

  Speaking of a few months, May is still a go for RR leave and it looks like Ma and Pa Porter will be making the drive down to Clarksville for a few days. It will be nice to be able to see them, even if it’s only for a few days.

  My math class is over, well not officially over for another 2 weeks, but I am done with it. I am trying to get ahead in english but it is proving to be a little more time consuming. Lots of reading and writing, who would have guessed that english composition would mean a lot of reading and writing.

  Thats about it. Things are going as well as can be expected. Oh, I did however eat Pizza Hut today for lunch as a treat. I’ve been going to the gym every day for about 2 hours and decided that I earned a little treat. It was good, I guess real good considering it was in Bagram Afghanistan.
